Hold Your Horses, Akshay Kumar Is Not A Part Of Dhoom 4, Clarifies Yash Raj Films

We woke up to news of Akshay Kumar bagging Dhoom 4. But Yash Raj Films just put these reports and rumours to rest with an official clarification. Releasing a statement, the film production banner clarified that as of now Dhoom 4 has no script. In fact, it's not even in the ideation process

2019 has been a glorifying year for Bollywood’s Khiladi Kumar in terms of his box office success with his movies Kesari, Mission Mangal and now Housefull 4 set to release in Diwali. But yet another explosive news came today morning, when a leading tabloid reported of the actor being roped in by a leading production house in their success movie franchise. Any guesses?  News of the actor being in talks with Yash Raj Films’ honcho Aditya Chopra for Dhoom 4 appeared in Mid Day. 

Reports stated of the actor being in talks possibly for villainous avatar of an underworld don on the screen, but guys hold on your horses, as nothing like this is happening so soon. Following the news, of Akki being roped in by YRF, came the clarification of the banner, of no such developing from their end. Putting the rumours to rest the production house released a statement. The statement read, “The article “Dhoom to get Khiladi’s touch?” printed in today’s Mid-day is absolutely incorrect and baseless. Dhoom is an extremely important franchise for us but currently we do not have an idea or script for Dhoom 4. Besides Akki’s name who was associated with this project, Miss World Manushi Chillar’s too was probably being considered for the female lead said the report. 


In 2020, YRF will present three big projects on the celluloid such as Mardaani 2, Shamshera and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
